Well hello there!

Ok so I've had about 5 blogs...none of which I have successfully kept up with.  One of the many life resolutions I have for this year was to create and actually maintain a blog...well here it is...the 5th blog and hopefully one I will post to regularly.  I decided to go against a certain theme...but the husband and I got a Nikon D5000 camera for Christmas and I've begun to develop a real interest in photography.  ok OK...I know what you are thinking..."Kelly you take pictures of EVERYTHING already...what do you mean develop an interest in photography?!".  Well I do LOVE taking pictures.  I am like Melissa Joan Hart's character in "Can't Hardly Wait"-these ARE memories frozen in time people!  Seriously- since getting this fancy schmancy camera I have read the entire user manual AND watched both DVD's that came with it.  I am hooked...there is so much  you can do with this camera and I want to learn everything-and be semi decent at it...so my second life resolution! 

So to get to my point...I didn't just want to create a blog to document all of the happenings in our life because well you can just get that information from facebook (oops did I admit that!? Don't tell my husband!).  I wanted a place to share my love for photography, and of course my life's adventures.  I love to travel, read, and just have fun with my friends and family.  Tommy and I have already experienced so many great things in our newly wed lives and now life, as we know it, is about to change in oh about 10 weeks (or less!).  In March we will welcome a new little life into our family of 2.  I STILL cannot believe that we will be responsible for a little life...Lord help him...but seriously he or she is coming into this world with two parents that are going to love the crap out of him or her.  (Can you tell we don't know the sex of the baby!?)

I think I did mention photography somewhere in this post...so to not ignore that here are some of my practice photos so far...I am getting ready to document this kiddos entire life...poor little guy/gal.  Oh and I forgot to mention we also got a video camera...this child MAY be blind by the time they are 1 from all the flashes and blinking red lights.  Poor thing!

Here is my first bump picture ever at 12 weeks...and I thought I had a bump...it was barely there:

And here is my bump now...at 30 weeks...Pretty happy it's been pretty much all belly but I am huge...I cannot imaging getting any bigger!

So here is my blog...if you don't like it.. well don't read it...but I hope you do.  The following posts will be dedicated to everything I love in this world and also how our lives are changing in a big fat fun, scary, exciting, and awesome way!
