The past 3 months you have grown-literally. I think you wore your 4T size clothes for about a month (really more like 9 months). You have also grown into such a fun and caring little girl right before our eyes. You are so smart and you truly enjoy life!
You have such an independent spirit!
Some of the milestones the past 3 months:
You stayed up until midnight on New Years Eve
You have been more interested in choosing your shoes and clothes that you wear each day
You were the star of the week at school
Your writing and letter recognition (and numbers too) has improved. You write your first name and you are working on perfecting your last now too.
We are working on stopping the thumb sucking (you went from your papi to the thumb!). You still take naps and need naps but they don't happen every day.
You really enjoyed your snow days this year!
Some funnies that you said:
Me: "Lilly please don't grow up too fast"
Lilly all serious looks back at me in the mirror-eyes wide while nodding her head"
"I will mom-I will."
While watching the news and seeing them talk about National Bagel Day: "Does that mean today is a mommy day!?" (aka a holiday where she gets to stay home)
"Mommy-can we try cooking a rabbit!?"-after I didn't realize the Discovery Channel was on instead of Disney Junior.
After getting a Olaf snow cone (aka snowball if you are from these parts) maker from her Uncle Paul and Samantha-"Grammy I am going to make a snowball and throw it at you!"
Some fun happenings:
You and daddy attended the Father Daughter Dance at your school-you had a blast!
We celebrated Valentine's Day in China per your request (we actually went to Chopstix). You loved trying to use the chopsticks.
This winter has been a cold one-but we had one nice warm (relatively speaking) day so we took a trip to the zoo! You fed the giraffe- it was SO cool!
You also met a goat named Lilly! She was a Lilly Goat!
You had some firsts too!
You got your first mani/pedi with friends
You built your very own book ends at the Home Depot workshop
You started riding your big girl bike-yea for the weather starting to break!
One of my favorite things about you Lilly is that you love to have fun. I hope you always keep your love for life! Be SILLY!
You are SUCH a good big sister. This past weekend you got to celebrate your birthday with a party with friends and family at Jump on it and you had a blast! After we went to see Cinderella with your cousins.
Happy 4th birthday my beautiful Lilly pie. May the next year be full of love, laughter, and joy! Mommy, Daddy, and Tommy love you so much!
