Kelly's Corner: Lillian Grace's first Easter

Ever since before Lilly was born I have been planning for her first Easter. Crazy I know, but it was going to be her first holiday and I wanted to make it extra special-even though she won't remember it. I've had her Easter basket ready and all of the goodies that go in it pretty much since before she was born with the exception of placing the order for the personalized basket liner from PBK (which we ordered from the hospital) and choosing an outfit for her to wear and one to put in her basket. I even bought candy! Ok the candy is for us but we deserve a treat too! Needless to say I was excited for the upcoming holiday and now it's here!

Last week we took Lilly to see the Easter Bunny along with her Mimi and Pa and cousins Katie, Emily, and Kelly. She was pretty fussy the whole time which was surprising for her. I think she wasn't digging the headband. She's also taken to cluster feeding in the afternoons and it had been an hour since she last ate so she was probably ready for another snack at this point. Easter morning was fun. I put together the baskets after both Lilly and Tommy were asleep-it was so much fun playing the Easter Bunny-I cannot imagine what Christmas is going to be like!! We really enjoyed the morning but we did have to get moving to get ready to head to my parents for Easter breakfast. After breakfast we lounged around for a bit and then headed over to Uncle Pat and Aunt Sue's in Ellicott City. This was Lilly's first O'Malley family gathering!! Everyone loved her (who wouldn't!). Here is Lilly in her Easter Dress and a few pictures from the afternoon.
