At 6 weeks Lilly is doing a good job with holding her head up for even longer periods of time. She's even starting to stand-well not really stand but she will hold he self up with our help on her little legs! She's even more alert and has really started smiling up a storm. She's started to 'talk' a bit which is really cute. She hardly ever cries and when she wakes up I just hear her 'singing' in her crib or when she's hungry smacking her lips! She seems to really be taking in her surroundings and I can tell she's starting to see more and notice things. She's slept through the night a few times and when she doesn't she only wakes up once to eat and then is back out again. It's been wonderful that she's sleeping at night in longer stretches so I can get a good solid 5-6 hours of sleep at a time. Her normal schedule is to hit the sack around 10 and wake up around 3 or 4 to eat and then hits the sack again until 7ish before she's up for a bit for the morning. She's awake more during the day and is starting to cat nap here and there with about 2 solid naps during the day. While she isn't on a strict schedule yet-she seems to be getting on one on her own. Every once in a while she will have a particularly sleepy day or awake day. Also she is now sleeping in her crib! She loves it. She's been in the crib for about a week now and she won't even nap in the pack n play any more. She's spoiled! So we're packing up the pack and play until vacation. Wow I feel like she's growing up so fast-before I know it we will be packing her up to go to college. I feel like I say things like this every time I do weekly/monthly Lilly post but really-time is flying! So enough jabbering and on to the pictures. Here is Lilly's 6 week photo shoot!
All Dressed up with nowhere to go!
Look Ma! I can blow bubbles!
This is her "I'm up to something" face
She doesn't look like a 6 week old baby in this picture-she looks like a kid!
This is what she thinks about me taking all these pictures!
Happy 6 weeks Lilly-ok you can slow down the whole growing up thing now!
