I am in the process of simplifying my life and getting re-organized. One area of my life that could use some organization is my gmail account. I get a lot of e-mails and not the good kind. Emails I delete almost as soon as they come in my inbox. Since I have a blackberry I have to delete many of them twice. E-mails from Old Navy, Gap, Carters, Groupon, Ticketmaster... For the most part I never read any of these e-mails but I've always kept my name on the list-just in case. It's actually a big fat waste of my time to delete these e-mails daily or really weekly since I am lazy and often don't even log into my gmail since it's mostly clogged with ads and junk mail. This ends now.
The teeny little link at the bottom of the e-mail that reads "click here to unsubscribe" is my new best friend. For years I just ignored it thinking that maybe one day being on this e-mailing list will be worth it-it's not. With a few little clicks of my mouse I remove myself from these e-mail lists and let out a huge sigh of relief. And now when I wake up in the morning there are a few less dings on my blackberry. Ahhhhhhhhhh!
In other news: Guess who is sitting up!!!
