Father's Day Recap

Father's Day weekend was a blast.  I hope Tommy agrees (and I think he does) because I know I enjoyed it!  On Saturday we had our friends Adam and Angela over for a cookout and their three kids.  Lilly had a ball playing with the kids, especially her buddy Amie.  We always have so much fun together and I have to share a few pictures from the evening.  Tommy did all of the cooking and man did it rock! (hey it wasn't Father's Day yet! ;)

Dinner was AMAZING!  I made yummy mac n cheese to go with it and Angela made a YUMMY dessert!

On Sunday Lilly woke us up at 6:45am-wahoo for sleeping in-and we got packed for the zoo and headed out early to meet The Zinks for breakfast at Waffle house.  We crammed 8 of us including 2 high chairs in one booth-it was a spectacle.  I meant to take pictures but it was close quarters and a bit hectic so I resisted.  I did take a few shots of Lilly and Tommy with the scoopers outside of Waffle House and since this was our first time eating there despite living a stones throw away, I figured I needed to document it!

After the waffle house we headed to the Zoo!  It was the perfect day, cloudy and cool and no rain! 

The next series of pictures are titled:  Lilly LOVES goats!  You can see in some pictures where Tommy had to hold her back to prevent her from trying to ride them.  We had to keep telling her to be gentle!  She thought they were the greatest things!

After the zoo we came home to rest for a bit and the headed to dinner at Tommy's parents.  My family was at the beach but we're looking forward to spending time with them at the beach next weekend!  I didn't take too many shots but here are a few including one of our newest addition:  Allie Beth!

We hope everyone had as wonderful a weekend as we did!   A HUGE thank you to my wonderful husband and best friend who is just a crazy awesome daddy to our Lillian Grace.  How lucky am I?!
