When we first got there Lilly was amazed and took it all in. I caught a picture of her as we were exploring and creating a plan of attack-she spied the giant rubber duckey right away. Seeing the look on her face was worth the price of admission and the 2 hour drive alone.
Lilly had a ball. She's still a little young to understand the concept of waiting in line and she HATED getting off the rides but she loved it when she was on them. The range of emotions we experienced out of this little bugger were what tired Tommy and I the most I think-but we enjoyed the heck out of the fun parts!
Waiting in line sucks Dad!
Can they please start the ride already!?
Finally moving!
Her favorite attraction was the kiddie block pit-she could run around and play with other kids and Tommy and I could sit back and watch her play!
Here are some more of my favorite shots of us enjoying the day!
One and only family shot at the Elmo Rocks show!
She loved the sprinklers!
My little daredevil!
The parade...I have a sweet neck tan now!
I wanted to save the best for last. The characters. Lilly LOVED them. Like LOVED to the point the characters were following her around because they loved that she was hugging and "ahhhing" and running to them. Her faces are priceless!
Trying to sit on Murray!
Her buddy Elmo-he followed us out still hugging Lilly! We got a nice family picture with Elmo that we paid a million buck for but they super imposed Sesame Street in the background (hence the green screen) and we just had to get it! Hope I can scan it soon to share!
She loved the Count!
We even had dinner with Elmo and friends and it was great! The food was good and Lilly got to hug and dance with the characters before we left!
Tommy even got in on the fun!
Dancing in the Conga line!
Finally on our way out we met Super Grover!
We had a blast despite some tears when we got off the rides and no nap other than in the morning on the ride to SP. I am looking forward to going back next summer already!
