These months just keep going by faster and faster-especially this time of year! We are so busy but I am trying to take in all that you are doing. You are growing up so much faster than your big sister. I think it's because of that big sister that you are doing so. You just want to do everything she is doing! Slow down buddy!
You are such a great helper! You clean up your toys, help with the dishwasher, and for the most part you listen pretty well. You had so much fun helping daddy pick up the leaves!
You are starting to be a little ornery though...you hear us, and then decide you want to do whatever it is you want to do anyway. I think we may be moving into the terrible twos phase. You are asserting your independence more and are starting to have a few tantrums as a result-especially if mommy or daddy are keeping you from that independence (for your safety of course!).
Speaking of growing up you have officially moved up to the toddler room at school and you are doing wonderful! I have already noticed a difference in you. While you are a bit behind your sister was at your age your verbal skills are definitely picking up. The other day at drop off you even said to me (in the most adorable little voice) "where's Marnie!?" (your teacher). So cute! I am so proud of all your accomplishments as of late little man!
We have certainly been busy this past month! We've been trying to get outdoors as much as we can because there are some days that it's just too cold and windy or rainy to be outside.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with breakfast at Grammy and Gramps' and dinner at Mimi and Pa's! Boy do you still love to eat and you enjoyed every bit of the all day feast!
We went to get our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was cold but we all bundled up and had a blast!
You had fun-I swear! You are so serious sometimes!
Some other things to note:
You wrote your first letter to Santa
You have impressive block building skills.
You are still a mommas boy when it comes to certain things but you are all daddy for rough housing and tickling!
You have a great new cheese face!
You are in a size 5 diaper, wearing 18-24 month clothing, and a size 5 shoe (although I think you are more of a 5.5 now-we're holding out to see if Santa brings you some new shoes!). I totally spaced and forgot to make your 18 month well check so it looks like we will be going to the doctors soon! Silly mommy.
Happy 19 months baby boy! You continue to amaze us and we are having so much fun watching you learn and grow. We love you Thomas Everett!
