Kelly's Corner: Lillian Grace-2 months old

My beautiful Lillian Grace is 2 months old. How the heck is that possible! At 2 months Lilly is really coming into her personality. She smiles up a storm and especially loves smiling at her Daddy.

She's getting bigger and while her two month check up isn't until next week we think she's about 12 lbs and we measured her with a tape measure at about 24 inches. She is in size 2 diapers and is starting to wear some of her 6 month clothing! I really feel this happened over night. It's insane! I've already had to pack away some 3 month clothing-mainly sleepers that are too small.

Lilly sleeps in her crib and she loves it! Thank goodness for video monitors because I think she would still be sleeping with us still if we didn't have one. It's very entertaining to watch the monitor at night and in the morning. She loves to talk to her sleep sheep and glow worm. She makes this noise when she 'talks' like she's hooting like an owl-it's so funny. I keep trying to catch it on video but whenever I get to film it she stops-I guess she's a bit camera shy for now (she doesn't get that from her mommy!).

When she gets tired she desperately tries to suck her fingers. She's getting there but she hasn't quite yet figured it out although she's getting better and has found an array of fingers to suck on-she just hasn't been consistent yet. I've caught her sucking her middle two fingers the most it's so freakin' cute! She loves to play with her hair when she's sucking. If I am holding her she will grab onto my shirt or skin. It's so cute to watch her comfort herself! She's now sleeping 6-7 hours in a row at night! Thank you Lilly!

Lilly also has a new friend, his name is Harvey. Harvey was Daddy's favorite plush when he was little and he's been so loved and will continue to be loved by Lilly. How sweet is he?

Harvey used to have bunny slippers on his feet, but they were loved off. These were Tommy's baby booties and now are Harvey's new slippers!

Lilly is also getting more and more curious and really is taking notice of her surroundings and toys. You can really see it in her eyes that she's taking it all in! She's going to be one smart cookie!

Lilly was also baptized this month and attended her first baby shower and had her first lunch date with Katie at Pei Wei! She's really getting around and loves to travel in the car.

She is liking tummy time more and more and is enjoying it for longer periods of time now.

She loves going for walks too. She kicks her legs and making her 'whooing' noise telling us she loves the fresh air and warm sunshine.

Lillian is such a good baby and is doing so well. We love her to death and I cannot believe in 4 weeks I have to go back to work. Tommy has specific instructions to take pictures and videos of her every day so I don't miss a thing!!
