2 cups of coffee...

...and I am still wide awake when normally my eyes would be closing and I would be off to dream land.  I never drank coffee until I had Lilly and had to go back to work.  I really don't think I need it but I've grown to like it.  Well, I mainly have a love affair with coffee creamer-Almond Joy=heaven!   One cup and I am usually ready for bed around 9:30/10:00-lame, I know.  But TWO cups...well two cups gives me a jolt and I may possible be up all night.  I don't mind tonight because my rocker husband is playing a gig and most likely won't be home until 3am.  I hate going to bed without him.  I hear noises, see shadows, it's just not fun and I don't sleep anyway so at least I will be productive.  It's 5 of 10:00 and since laying Lilly down at 8:15 I have done a load of laundry, baked awesome Reese's peanut butter cup brownies which sound fancy but really I just tossed in chopped up Reese's in a box brownie mix, done some pinning, caught up with my blog reader (Google Reader) and now I am blogging myself.

I am so glad the weekend is here.  Tomorrow I have to run 3 miles and I am kind of oddly excited.  Fall weather is hopefully here to stay and it makes for great running weather-hopefully I can focus on the beautiful weather and scenery and not the fact that I am dieing.  The windows are open and the crispness is in the air-welcome October!  We also have a family reunion tomorrow and I am looking forward to it-just hoping the rain holds off.  Sunday will be a nice relaxing day for me and Lilly but Tommy has 2 gigs.  I know he loves it but Lilly and I will certainly miss him.  Maybe we will take a trip to Wegman's for some fruits and veggies and spend the day baby food making.  The stash is getting a bit low especially the sweet potatoes-those are still her favorite!  I am going to try to do my own pumpkin puree too!

I have a sweet new laundry room that Tommy finished.  The unfinished side of our basement is still a work in progress but I have my little area now.  The shelf makes a HUGE difference.  We're also working on a folding station and hopefully an indoor clothes line.  Check it out so far:

Happy Friday!
