"No MOM-No one can see The Tooth!"
And then she blew raspberries at me!
Lilly is also becoming more and more mobile. Not officially crawling yet but she will scoot around in a circle on her tummy and occasionally will get up on all fours. I am sure, like everything else, it will happen overnight. We better start baby proofing stat! While she isn't pulling herself up she can stand if she's supported-won't be long before we are lowering the crib!
One of my favorite things is to see Lilly get excited. It's so funny watching her wave her arms and kick her legs and smile when she's excited about something. Lately she has been noticing our framed family picture that was taken by Jewell of The Lovely Photo. We noticed one day her staring at the wall it was on and smiling and making her who-who'ing sound she makes when she is excited. We took her over to the wall and sure enough it was the picture she was getting excited about. Another thing that excites Lilly is outside-she loves being outside. Sometimes if it's nice out I will open our front door and let her look out. She loves seeing the kids run around the neighborhood. She is going to be hard to keep inside!
Taken on my phone-first time in the umbrella stroller!
"I love being outside!" (also taken on my phone)
This month Lilly also got her first cold. We have been pretty lucky so far that she hasn't been sick but we went through a few rough nights and while her nose is still a bit stuffed she's feeling much better. Vapor baths and vapor rub have helped. Lilly wanted to eat the vapor rub and had a blast in her vapor bubble bath!
Lilly is talking up a storm now-she's a little babble box! It's so funny! She loves music too. I snapped a few shots of her watching Dave Matthews videos on the computer with her Daddy-how cute!
"Did you see that fill dad!?"
I have to say that Lilly is definitely a Daddy's girl. Every time Tommy is in the room Lilly is always trying to get his attention! She smiles one of the biggest smiles I have seen when he comes into the room and waves her little arms for him to pick her up. Now of course there are times she wants and needs her mama too and it stops my heart when that little face lights up when I come home from work. I love that she's starting to wave her little arms for me to pick her up. It's the best!
I was so excited to do Lilly's photo shoot this month because, it's October, and that means pumpkins! Here are some of my favorites:
Lilly Grace you are as cute as cute can be! We love you to pieces-Happy 7 months!!
