I cannot believe October is over! It was a busy, yet fun, month. One fun thing we did that I didn't get a chance to blog was Autumn's 1st birthday! Lilly had a blast and it was so much fun to see my family.

This picture is just funny!
My mom took this picture...either she was trying to be artsy or something or she's just that bad at taking pictures.

BFF's-these two are going to be tearing up the town before we know it!
Mommy and Lilly
Lilly is 7 1/2 months old and every day she's becoming more and more kid like and less and less baby like. It's amazing how much babies grow and learn in their first few months of life. She is so close to crawling. She has started doing more of a scoot and can move backwards really well but I won't call that crawling just yet. She will get it soon.
We have a huge basket full of toys we are now letting Lilly dig into and her favorite thing to do now is to take every single toy out of the basket.
The past couple of days have been beautiful, crisp but warm, fall days. I was so excited when some of the leaves started falling off of our cherry tree in our front yard. I raked some up in a pile and let Lilly go to town! She loved the leaves. Rather she like eating the leaves.
Days like this make me want to live in Fall forever. But it's Maryland and that means tomorrow it will be snowing and these wonderful fall days we have been having will have to wait until next year.
Only 12 more days until Thanksgiving! In 12 days the leaves will all be on the ground, we will have to bring out the down coats, scarves, and gloves so this weekend we will play outside in between errands and naps. I am going to savor these crisp fall days and revel in the orange, red, and yellow colors of the leaves that are still barely hanging on the trees for as long as I can! I am excited that we will be traveling to NY this Thanksgiving! It's going to be a great kick off to the holidays! Great food and great family always makes me happy!
In two weeks my 7 1/2 month old will be 8 months old and we suspect she will have figured out the whole crawling thing so this month baby proofing is on the agenda. These last 12 days we will enjoy the weather and final fleeting moments of our immobile baby.
The holidays are coming...are you ready?
