Christmas!

Lilly's first Christmas was wonderful!  We did things a little bit different this year since we wanted to spend our Christmas morning at our house for Lilly's first Christmas and I think it worked out great and Lilly was one spoiled little girl!

We got all of our shopping and baking and cleaning done by Friday morning so we were able to relax and enjoy the start of our holiday.  Let me tell you that the holiday spirit comes back in full force once you have children. I cannot wait until she actually realizes what is going on!  Even still we started all of the Christmas traditions we want her to experience as well as continue some our family's did with us.  On Christmas Eve morning Lilly opened a gift from Mommy and Daddy-Christmas jammies!

After Lilly's morning nap we went over my parents to spend the day and have Christmas Eve dinner and open gifts with them.  We had a blast and Lilly definitely was spoiled by Grammy and Gramps and Uncle Paul and Auntie Em-Mommy and Daddy were too!  Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve.

We left around bed time and Lilly was asleep in the car almost instantly.  When we got home, we played Santa and put out all the gifts and I prepared breakfast for the morning.

Christmas morning was a blast.  We got up and Lilly was excited to see everything!  Santa put candy canes on the tree and everything!  She opened a few gifts first and then had her morning bottle.  We opened gifts a few at a time throughout the morning and had visits from Mimi and Pa and Grammy and Gramps.  It was a nice relaxing morning with the family!  We had yummy breakfast casserole and orange cranberry bread from Wegmans.  We piddled about in our pj's and did some snuggling on the couch.  It was a lovely morning!
