It's pumkin time!

We didn't really get out to an official pumpkin patch this year-you know the places you get to actually pick your pumpkin from the vine and they serve apple cider and have hay rides.  Maybe we will get to it next year.  October is such a busy month for us that we barely had time to get pumpkins.  My job is very busy in the fall and prime time seems to be October.  Between my work, Tommy's gigs, the Baltimore Running Festival, and birthdays (we have TONS of October birthdays to celebrate) we are booked solid most nights and weekends.  We did manage to make it out to Valley View Farms one Sunday a few weeks ago and got a few pumpkins.  They even had a maze for kids which made it seem a bit more 'patch' like.  At first Lilly didn't seem to be having much fun but as we walked around and we actually let her pick a mini pumpkin of her own she was golden.  Here are a few pictures from our outing. 

We didn't get to bring home the 1500 lb pumpkin but we did pick a few good ones!  Hope everyone is having a great Fall!  This weather has been amazing and I am trying to enjoy what is left of it while I can!
