Big surprise I am a bit behind with my weekly posts. You would think I would have more time on my hands since I had a 5 day weekend but it was jammed packed with family, eating, and getting things done around the house that we have been putting off. I did manage a bump picture and wouldn't you know I am wearing the same outfit as last week. Oh well-It was washed since I promise.
I am feeling great! I still get a little nauseous when I am hungry (and cranky) but other than that my energy is back, I've started walking on the treadmill we took off the hands of some friends, and I am in the holiday spirit full swing!
Maternity pants are a must right now although I can still fit into some regular work pants with the belly band. I am wearing a mix of maternity tops and regular tops. I was a bit discouraged when some of my size small maternity tops didn't fit. I was definitely smaller last time around so I've purchased a few new tops but luckily I can still wear all my mediums I wore during my second and third trimesters with Lilly. Hopefully what I have will get me through until I need something. Not sure how much weight I've gained up to this point but I am sure it's another pound or two.
There is no question I now look pregnant. Before it was a questionable gut but now it's a full on baby bump. Still no distinct movement yet.
My next doctors appointment is December 5th and I will have my growth ultra sound and we get to find out the sex! I am so excited-even though we are waiting for the reveal I am really pumped to have the results in my hot little hands. I am so excited! We will also get our official due date then as well since we will have a better idea as to the babies size. Last sono I was measuring right on schedule!
The baby right now is the size of an avocado-about 4-5 inches and 3-5 oz. He or she is growing bigger everyday. I am definitely larger this time around at 16 weeks than I was with Lilly but definitely carrying to the front.
Here is my 15 week bump picture with baby #2"
And for comparison here is my 16 week bump picture with Lilly:
