Baby #2: 26 weeks

This week baby boy Smith is the size of a head of lettuce!  I checked my BUMP countdown the other day to see how big baby was for this weeks blog post and happened to glance at the countdown and it was....93 DAYS.  Which means: I only have 85 more days to go until my scheduled c-section!!!!  I won't even make it 93 days.  Holy crap!  How crazy slow and fast this pregnancy has gone.  I keep thinking I have more time.  I am usually way ahead of the ballgame.  By any means I am not far behind at all but I feel like there is so much to do with Lilly's room and getting that set up.  And really it's not even about that because let's be real we really don't need that to happen before bringing our son into the world since he will be with us for at least 4 months.  It's more the realization and reality that I will have 2 children.  TWO, 2, Dos!  Insert freak out right here ()&**%^$&%^$#&%$#*%^$^%$*%^$*%$!!!!

Ok-I am done-really it's more of excitement as well.  I am really excited to see what he looks like and to pick his name.  Lilly has already shown signs of the doting big sister.  This weekend when we were snuggling before nap time she was nestled up against my belly.  Without me prompting her she little hand just rested there.  It also happened to be the spot he chose to kick at that moment as if to say "hey big sis-can't wait to meet you!".  Se felt it to because she jerked her head up to look at me, her eyes wide as she said: "I felt brover!".  She then kissed my tummy and when I told her to tell him a secret she whispered:  "I love you so much!".  My heart melted.  Still not sure she gets that we will have an actual baby in our home come May, but I've been talking to her about going t the hospital and bringing him home so we will see officially how it all goes down then.  But I have a feeling that she will be one terrific big sis!

I am feeling pretty decent this week.  Nothing crazy.  My feet have been hurting more and I am feeling more 'pregnant'.  I am definitely not in the kind of shape I was when I was pregnant with Lilly.  I have been pretty lazy so I cannot say that I am doing much to prevent that.  I did walk this weekend and I am hoping to start walking more on my days off to help a bit-who says you have to wait post baby.  I've also been more conscience about what I am eating so that's good-of course still indulging a few night a week with Ice Cream and I couldn't resist the MEGA stuffed Oreos (Yum!)  but instead of having the whole bag I've tried only a few.

I feel like I am sticking further out this time around.  With Lilly I feel like I was wider.  I also don't have the line down my stomach like I had with Lilly.  Pretty funny since old wives tales say that's an indication of a boy!  Not in my case.

Here is the bump at 26 weeks:
