The baby is now the size of a head of cauliflower. Kicks and jabbs and flips are coming at all angles. The baby is active more so in the later evening and mid day. I think this is my favorite part of pregnancy. The baby isn't large enough yet to really be poking and prodding annoying places yet you can really feel (and see) kicks and pokes. I love it! I wish I could remember exactly how Lilly was to compare. I do feel like Lilly was a bit more active.
I had my glucose testing this week-fingers crossed that I pass-and I had my 25/26 week check up. All was well and I have one more appointment in 4 weeks and then I start going twice a month! I cannot believe it. So exciting. I've gained a total of 10 pounds which I am pretty happy with. Hoping not for the 40 I gained with Lilly-especially since I only really lost half before getting pregnant again. I am going to have a lot of work to do starting 6-8 weeks after baby boy is born!
I've been having fun preparing for the baby. He already has a nice start to a wardrobe and I've been collecting items for the nursery. I've printed a few prints for the picture wall. I am really excited about one that I will share when I start putting it all together.
Things have been busy. It's busy for me at work and my free time is spent with my family. While I love being busy it can be stressful at times. I need to make some time to organize some things and get some things done around the house-there just aren't enough hours in the day or in the weekend for that matter! I am kind of wondering what this all will be like once Baby boy arrives. It will for sure be an adjustment at first! I am sure we will work our way into a nice routine like we have now.
This baby bump shot is brought to you by the Baltimore Ravens-World Champs baby!
