Saint Patrick, The Easter Bunny, and The Cat in the Hat walk into a bar...

Our Saint Patrick's Day oddly involved many different characters.  Of course the entire family wore green, we read Jamie O'Rourke to start the day.  It was Lilly's first day fever free (oh yea she was sick again-turns out she had a virus...2-4 days with a fever UGH) so we decided to get out of the house for a bit. 

We did some shopping and took Lilly to the mall to have an impromptu visit with the Easter Bunny.  What a better way to celebrate being Irish?  With Lilly's birthday this weekend and Easter being the following weekend we realized it was probably the only real weekend day we had!  Lilly loved the Easter Bunny and even though she doesn't look too thrilled in the picture she was chatting him up and even told him she loved him!  I think she was just weirded out by the 'strangers' trying to take her picture. 

When we were at the mall, Lilly ran into her buddy-The Cat in the Hat...she did not want to get out!  She even was reciting some of the book to him-I love this kid!

We had a non-traditional smorgasbord for dinner.  Tommy had been wanting Kielbasa and Sour Kraut (BARF)  so I had some leftovers lasagna and Lilly had chicken nuggets and peas.  It was all magically delicious!  Hope everyone enjoyed their green weekend too!
