Baby #2: 38 weeks-The last post...

This coming week I am having a baby!  It's crazy to say this is my LAST weekly bump post.  At 39 weeks I will be taking my last picture before heading to the hospital for my scheduled c-section so the next time you will hear from me most likely will be our birth announcement!  I cannot believe how slow and fast this time has gone by.  It's amazing.   

We are ready for you little guy.  Everything that we need is ready and we took this weekend to relax, spend time with big sister as she enjoys her last few days as an only child and just mentally prepare.  Since Wednesday I've been saying...this is her last Wednesday as an only child, Thursday, Friday...and this is her last weekend as an only child...nothing too crazy planned this weekend except a trip to BJ's to stock up on some items and to spend time with Lilly.  I tear up thinking about it but I am also so happy she will have her baby brover soon.

We have done a lot of hiking the past few weekends-it's free and we have so many places around us to explore!  It's also been some great exercise for the family and Lilly has enjoyed it!

THIS is our last picture as a family of three taken at Rock State Park-Kilgore Falls today:

At 38 weeks, Baby boy Smith is the size of a pumpkin.  This coming week he will be the size of a watermelon but I will barely get to celebrate 39 weeks as he will be in my arms by 8am on Wednesday morning.  Holy cow. 

This past Friday was my last week of work for 12 weeks.  I know that time is going to fly by-especially now that I will have 2 but I am going to suck up as much of it as I can to enjoy my babies and make the summer a memorable one! 

Here is the 38 week torpedo bump-there are two since one was taken on (yet another) hike through a different part of the Gunpowder and the second taken at Kilgore Falls.

We cannot wait to meet you little guy-I know your little sister will adore you and I think I am most excited about introducing you to her-she's pretty awesome and is going to teach you how to be just as awesome. She asks to kiss you (my tummy) daily-it's adorable!  We love you already and cannot wait to have you in our arms!  See you in just a few days!
