A month already! Believe it when they say that the second child gets less pictures taken of them, gets a little more neglected and the time seems to go by even faster when you are busier with 2! I cannot believe my little man is already a whole month!

He is such a good baby and thank goodness because his big sister can be a handful. She is a busy girlie! He is starting to be more alert and awake longer. He loves staring at the ceiling fans just like his sister! He is sleeping so well waking once around 1:30/2 am and then again around 6 to eat again and then sleeps a few more hours which is great since I can have some one on one time with Lilly. Right now there isn't much to report. We are working on tummy time and he is getting pretty good at lifting his head. After a few minutes he is done with it though.
He is a bit gassy and gets very squirmy and fussy close to bed time but it really isn't that bad compared to horror stories I have heard from friends who have had colicky babes. He also is rockin some serious baby acne and some cradle cap. Poor little guy! He is still so handsome though!
Tommy had his month check up today! He did so well. Dr. Minton says he is tall (90th percentile for height) and he's definitely growing weighing in at 10lbs 10 oz. Guess my thought of him being in 3 month sizes all summer is out the window. I may need to hit some of the summer sales for a few items!
He is wearing size 1 diapers and 3 month clothing right now and while a week ago they were still a little loose and long this week they seem to be fitting perfectly.
He eats a lot and has just started being able to make it longer at night but during the day it's every 2 maybe 3 hours which I am happy about because in the beginning it sometimes was every hour! He is also a very loud and fast eater sometimes making himself choke! It helps if I elevate him a bit so it doesn't come out so fast!
Right now his hair is a brownish red but his eyebrows and eyelashes are very light. Big sisters hair was soooo dark compared to his. He has deep blue eyes and I know you cannot always tell right away but I think they are going to stay blue!
This month has been pretty low key but we did celebrate Mothers Day, Memorial Day, and a few birthdays and a graduation. Unfortunately I don't have many pictures from these events because I either have too much stuff to pack the camera or I forget because I have to remember too much stuff. I am hoping to get a point and shoot soon to always have with me so maybe that will help! The giant DSLR is great but for now it may just work best for home shots or our monthly photo shoots.
And because its always handy I have taken some good shots with my I pad:
Here is a comparison shot of Lilly and Tommy both at one month:
It's funny when I look at them side by side how different they look. Her hair was SO much darker and there was more of it and he is much more fair! I can definitely see some similarities too! Here is Lilly's
one month blog post for some even more comparison! I didn't have as much detail as I now put into the monthly posts. I didn't even give her stats like her weight and height. I do have it recorded and at one month Lilly was only 9 lbs 13 oz and 22 1/2 inches. Baby brother may have been smaller at birth but he's now ahead of his sister! He gives a fist pump for that!

Thomas Everett you have changed so much in just a few weeks! You are so sweet and definitely a mama boy so far! Night feedings, while often a chore with your sister, are a lot more special this time around as it's one of the only times of the day when it's just you and me kid. I actually look forward to them (although I am still pretty sleepy!). The time I get to spend just doting on you is worth it! Time is certainly precious and while I look forward to the day you and your sister are running and playing, I know this time is fleeting so I will soak it in as much as I can! We love you Tommy!
