Lilly-3 years old: #threenager

My baby girl.  3 years ago today I was holding you in my arms for the first time.  Here you are now, a little spit fire.  An independent, talkative, spirited little girl.  You are not my baby anymore.  You are not even a toddler anymore-you are a kid.  A great kid at that.  Sure you have your moments-we are not getting out of the threenager phase unscathed, but we couldn't ask for a better little girl.  You made me a mommy and I will always hold that special moment in my heart. You continue to give us light and laughter every single day.  The things you say and do-you are getting it little girl.  I know I say that a lot but boy have you changed this past year.  It still amazes me.  Aside from the first year I really think the transition from 2-3 is just as, if not more, drastic.

I am not sure where to even begin.  Let's start with the updates from the last post which was 3 months ago.  There hasn't been too much going on post Christmas but I have definitely noticed you growing up.  Some things we have done the past three months:

You rang in 2014.

Had a few snow days!

Celebrated Mommy's birthday

Celebrated Valentine's Day and Saint Patrick's Day

You are currently loving many things but as of late you love Disney movies (especially Frozen) drawing and painting, school, singing, dress ups, getting your nails painted, and riding your scooter.

We haven't been outside much since the winter has been pretty bad so honestly you have done a lot of movie watching-which I don't mind too much.  I do have to say when you did get out boy did you play hard!  You love getting out!

You are still at Kiddie Academy in Room 4 and you love school.  I love seeing you with your friends and the progress you have made there.  It's crazy to think you will be starting in the 3's program soon.

You are getting so big.  You are 31.4 pounds-Right on track.  You wear mostly 3T clothing and some 4T items that are cut smaller.  You are fully potty trained!  I am happy to say we haven't been having any issues as of late-I am so proud of you.  You still wear a pull up at night but we are going to work on that next.  You also still take a paci but we try to keep it only at nap time and night time.  We are going to be working on that as well-just not at the same time as the pull up transition!

You are such a funny little girl too!  You really have a great sense of humor and I love that about you!  You really know how to have fun!

I also LOVE what a great big sister you are.

Teaching him how to eat snow

You give great advice!
Currently he only sits still for books with you!

I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that you are three.  I didn't think I would get emotional about it.  You have really grown up this year.  Here is a little look back at some of my favorite moments of 2013/2014-year THREE

Happy, Happy 3rd birthday baby girl.  Looking forward to the adventure that is in store for us in year 4.  I am PROUD to say I am your mommy.  We (Mommy, Daddy, and Tommy) love you bunches and bunches!  XOXO
