This month you have been cruising much more even going from couch to couch breaking your grip and taking a step or two. Walking is coming in the near near future. You walk with your push toys like a champ. Your problem now is that you want to go fast and your little legs aren't quite there. Your self confidence is there though-you clap for yourself every time you stand on your own! I love it.
You are more quiet than your sister was at this age but you babble when you need to and I swear you say Thank you! You say Dada and Mama and yuck (guck). You sign more and all done and you definitely make it known when you are hungry, sleepy, or just plain cranky (I think more teeth are on their way!!)
You give nice bit wet kisses now even smacking your lips when we ask for kisses before you move in to plant a big one. I love it! You love hugging with Mama-especially at bed time. You have the routine down (finally!) and when we go into your room and turn on your music your head hits my shoulder and you are out within 5 minutes. Nap time you fight a bit and it takes a little extra work but once you are out you are golden. There are days on the weekends you make it until lunch time and then take a long nap after lunch and other days you need two smaller naps.
Even though you are a bit smaller than Lilly was at your age you LOVE to eat! In fact, you are an eating machine! Some of your favorite food items include: chicken, applesauce, pirates booty for snack, and noodles. According to our home scale you are 19 pounds even. You are pretty much done with all 9 month clothes although a few items still fit and you still are good with 9 month pants in length. 12 month pants are a bit baggy still and you wear 12 month size pj's.
You only have two teeth but more are coming. Also a bit behind big sister in this department. She already had 5 teeth by the time she was 11 months.
This month we have had some fun! We celebrated the first day of Spring with your first Rita's. I am sure Lilly had none of this kind of stuff when she was your age but you got lucky little boy. You loved eating some of the custard off mommy's Italian Ice and you said "nom nom nom" when people walked by with their treats!
You enjoyed your first trip to Outdoor World (actually you were there as a baby but this is the first time you were able to enjoy the fishies!)
Since you have been taking some steps we thought it would be a good time to get you your first pair of shoes!
We had a fun 3rd birthday celebration for your sister!
You also celebrated Mimi, Gramp's, and Uncle Paul's birthdays. And yes we gave you cake. Oops!
The weather is still transitioning but we have been able to get outside more and that has been great-you love being outside!

You also celebrated your first Saint Patrick's Day which now thinking about it was your LAST First holiday! Sniff Sniff.

I say this every post but I adore how much you and your sister love each other. I know it won't always be roses but I do hope you stay close. She has taught you a lot and you both can make each other smile even when you are having 'bad' moments!
