Lilly-3 1/2

(Man I am so far behind...)

3 more months have flown by my Lilly Grace and you are officially half way done being 3 and half way to being 4!  4 is a big deal to me and I don't want to think about it yet.  4 sounds old(er).  3 still sounds like you are little and I want to keep it that way!  Wah!  You are wise beyond your years of 3 and a half  my Lilly Pie and I cherish every day you still need your mama for things because most of the time you are so so independent.

Take swinging for example.  You have been able to swing yourself for almost a year now but you still  wanted us to push you even though you knew how and you always needed a little start.  Not anymore!  You go from zero to SOARING in no time and you don't want our help any more.  Sometimes you scare me little one by how high you go!  You are even getting daring and trying your hand at jumping off (after you slow down a bit of course).

Three months of updates seems like a lot.  Especially to your mama who is very forgetful lately.  I thought you wouldn't be doing too much now that you are older so an every 3 month post would be perfect but I am finding that I just have more to say!  I am going to promise to keep this to the point (maybe).

You had a blast this summer!  We went on vacation to Ocean City, visited Dutch Wonderland, the Baltimore zoo, Webers farm, the state fair, and lots more  We went on lots of adventures and had such a fun time exploring and trying new things like hiking through the Gunpowder river!  You impressed me with your excitement and desire to ride ALL of the rides at Dutch Wonderland and the fair.  You are so brave and have such a wonderful adventurous little spirit!

You took your first (FROZEN) dance class!

You started a new school-and I was so proud how you made the transition beautifully!  You are now in Pre school!

You rode on a fire truck for the first time

We went to the MD state fair and you played your first fair game and won a prize!

You also had Pneumonia this summer.  I guess you just can't have too much fun!  You were a trooper though.  Since you were weighed in at the doctors we found out you were 34 pounds (you're growing tall!).  We have had to get you 4T clothes and your feet even grew to a size 9!

You are such a good big sister!

And I just love how you know how to have a good time!

You have so much more to experience in your life my Lilly Grace and your daddy and I hope that your spirited, compassionate, and outgoing personality blossoms more as you grow.  You are such a little leader already and every day you amaze me.  While you have your 3 year old moments those are learning experiences for mommy and daddy and you!  Stay little my Lilly-even if it's just at heart.  Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon...

Happy 3.5 years!
