Halloween Recap

It seems as though Fall is a beloved holiday among all of the bloggers I follow.  I think I have read about 1,235,780 "I freakin love fall" posts.  So make this one 1,235,781 because I love this time of year!  My favorite time starts right before Halloween and ends New Years eve.  There is something magical in the air starting with the change in weather, the leaves turning and falling.  Spending time with family is a BIG reason I love this time of year-traditions are being upheld and/or started.  How fun! 

Kicking off this magical time of year was Halloween.  It was super cold on Halloween evening but the kids had a blast!  Both kids had so much fun trick or treating.  Tommy would say "Thank you" in his little voice every time he was given a piece of candy.  He wanted to eat it all right away.  They got a lot of candy and we are trying to let them eat it but also trying to limit it a bit.  We have been brushing our teeth extra long each night. 

I picked the kids up from school right after nap time and we had some fun before daddy came home and the grandparents came over for pizza and trick or treating.  Lilly had a pop that she got from school and her and Tommy shared it while we took a walk to check out some of the Halloween decorations.  I just love this picture.  He's got his eyes on the prize!  Lilly looks adorable too-she's such a great big sister!

We ordered pizza and got ready for trick or treating.  It was a fun night and we got to share it with my parents, Tommy's parents, and my sister in law and niece Allie.

We had a great night!  I was a bit sad taking down our Halloween decorations but it's time to get pumped for Thanksgiving (NOT Christmas yet!).  :)
