This past month we had a lot of, as you say, "pardeeeees!". You have a love of having fun and when we ask you what you want for your birthday you either say "cake" or "pardeeee!". We celebrated Saint Patrick's day, Lilly's 4th birthday, Mimi and Gramp's and Uncle Paul's birthdays. It's been a busy month for our family but you went with the flow and had a great time!
We also celebrated Easter! It started with an Easter Parade and party at your school.
As a family we dyed Easter eggs. You would have rather cracked all of the eggs open but you did like plopping them in the dye.
You had a wonderful day on Easter Sunday and you looked so cute in your bow-tie! I think finding the Easter eggs filled with treats was your favorite part!
Your next well check is next month but you are definitely growing. 18 month clothes are barely fitting and any new clothes are 2T all the way. You are in a size 5 diaper and size 6 wide shoe-although I think it's time for a new pair of kicks!
I am so proud of you and how fast you are learning these days. You're speaking in full sentences now. Some of my favorite lines you say are: "Ahoy Mateys!" "Thank you mommy" and "I did it!". You still have an interest in going on the potty but we are not fully training yet. Maybe in a few months. You are a busy little guy and you love being outside jumping and playing no matter what the weather.
You love singing songs especially Baa Baa Black sheep, twinkle twinkle and row row row your boat.
On Easter day you learned how to blow bubbles! I was so proud and you just kept saying "I did it! It worked!" each time you made bubbles.
On our first day of spring break and the only sunny day of break we went to the zoo! It was the perfect zoo day!
You also had a blast at Port Discovery for Lilly's birthday.
I am loving that you and your sister are getting so good at taking pictures together. I still need to be quick but you will sit for a few minutes and smile!
Tommy you have such a contagious smile! Don't ever change that!
Happy 23 months Tommy! The weather is getting warmer and I cannot wait for the fun adventures we will have!
