Right now the baby is the size of a cucumber...not sure how he can go from lettuce to a squash then to a cucumber...it seems smaller to me but who knows how they figure these fruit things out. He's about 3lbs and 18 inches. 4-5 more lbs to grow in 9 weeks if he's around or close to the weight Lilly was at birth-although she was over a week late and he will be a week early soooo maybe he will be more of a peanut than she was. We shall see!
I am feeling pretty good. Getting tired again and bed time is creeping up to 8:30. All I want to do is cuddle on my couch most nights-even on the weekends that sounds most appealing.
Funny thing about this pregnancy is that while with Lilly I stuck to the Bump to do list pretty tightly-it now makes me laugh. Today I saw that one of the items was to "put lotion on my belly". Thanks for the reminder but looks like I can check that one off my list. Really? Does that need to be there? I don't recall it being so 'simple' last time around. Maybe it's just the second time snarkiness in me.
I had my 30 week check up this week and it was my last monthly. In 2 weeks I go back and shortly after that I will go every week until May 8th. It's crazy how time is flying by-but didn't I just say that? Everything checked out well-I gained some weight-boo-and the heartbeat and growth all look good!
