Baby #2: 35 weeks and 29? days

Week 35 is supposed to represent 35 weeks along AND 35 days left to go until your due date or 35/35.  Well for me it's 35/29?!.  With baby boy scheduled for a week earlier I don't get the excitement of celebrating 35/35 since we won't make it until his due date.

This week the baby is the size of a coconut!  He's anywhere from 5-6 lbs right now!  If I had to guess this boy is on the bigger side of that range.

Besides the craziness of this past weekend all has been well.  TRYING to take it easy (it's so hard).  I feel like baby boy is RIGHT in the front part of my stomach.  My tummy has been tight and it seems like he's running out of room!  Movement is strong, although I can feel them as more of jabs and pushes rather than flips and rolls.   Baby boy is growing.  No more frequent contractions since Friday but I was feeling some sporadically this weekend and during the week.  Definitely Braxton Hicks but I am trying to pay more attention to them this time just in case!  Mainly my tummy feels fuzzy-if that even makes sense!

I also had my weekly appointment.  I cannot believe I am already going every week.  I should really only have 3 more appointments until this baby is here! Ahhhhh!

I have to work this weekend but I am really hoping Tommy and I can pick a paint color for Lilly's room and get moving on getting her furniture-I will be needing some place to put baby boys clothing so that means at least getting Lilly a new dresser!  The bed we want is still not in stock at Ikea but we can always just get the mattress and frame for the time being-although that isn't a high priority I guess right now.  I also am hoping to start getting out and going through some of the baby stuff like the car seat, pack n play, bottles, etc.  Getting those out of storage and cleaned up will be a plus-especially if he decides to come before May 8.  I am also hoping to pack most of my hospital bag this weekend too!

Take it easy they say to the woman who has a lot to do, a toddler, a busy job, AND doesn't know HOW to take it easy-HA!  Tommy will def be helping with a lot though so that's a bonus-especially getting things out, set up, and painted.  So I will mainly be supervising and organizing and maybe every once and a while putting my feet up.

Other items on my to do list:

Get a mani/pedi
Get a haircut/highlight touch up
Get the house in some sort of order and deep clean
Get blinds for the kitchen and get rid of the ugly dirty lace curtains
Solve our ANT problem-ugh!

The first three are really a priority!  The last few are things I would just really like to do.

Getting down to the wire!  Here's the 35 week bump shot:
