The 4th!

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!  We sure did!  I had the kids dressed in coordinating Hanna Andersson outfits (I am sure they will roll their eyes at me when they are older for this) and they looked adorable!  This was Tommy's first holiday! 

In the morning we hit up the Kingsville parade with Tommy's family.  It was perfect...it wasn't too hot yet, there was a breeze blowing, and we managed a spot right in the shade so I didn't have to worry about little Tommy being in direct sun.  Lilly had a blast watching the parade and Tommy slept through it all (even when the bass drums went right by his head!)

 It was a challenge getting a shot of all of the Smith grandchildren...here are a few...Lilly is blurry because the kid doesn't stop moving!

The last one is probably the worst for most of the kids but I love Lilly in this shot because it just shows her personality and what a fun kid she is!  This next one I stole from my sister in law...again Lilly is blurry but it's probably the best one!

After the parade we had a picnic in the car and then headed south to visit with my family and have a cookout.  Lilly passed out in the car and ended up sleeping for over 3 hours at my parents!  That kid was worn out!  We had lots of yummy food and enjoyed the cool AC and did manage to sit outside for a few minutes.  Lilly stayed with my parents and went to the fireworks and me and Tommy squared went home and went to bed!

We had a wonderful day and a wonderful long weekend to follow!  Hope everyone had the same.
