Since our pediatrician was on vacation during the week Tommy turned 6 months we had to wait until yesterday to get Tommy's official stats. I was way off on my estimate. He is actually not far off from his 4 moth weight of 16.4 lbs. He was 16 lbs 15 oz. so almost 17lbs. The doctor wasn't concerned as he is breast feeding still and growing taller (27 inches) and typically weight gain tends to slow a bit at this point. He has SO much energy and is always moving or bouncing so he's burning a lot of calories! He's in the 60th percentile for weight and 75th for height.
I also felt like the mother of the year when I found out he had an ear infection. I was shocked when she told me too that it was pretty bad. Say Wha!? He has had no fever, no complaining, not signs what-so-ever! So he's now on antibiotics.
Sister has also been sick lately. She's had 2 viruses in a row. I am wondering if on Tuesday when she had to come home from school with a fever if she was taking it for her little brother who had the infection! :)
Hopefully they are getting it out of their system so come the holidays they are healthy as can be!
Since we had appointments for both kiddos this week Lilly weighed in at 31 lbs! We did not get her height but she is definitely getting taller. I can tell mostly because she can now bend her knees when pedaling her tricycle-which she can now ride and pedal all by herself! I am going to have a lot of updates coming your way for her as she turns 2 and 3/4 on Christmas Day! Sister has been busy!
