After months and months of waking every 2-3 hours and then waking JUST to sleep with mommy and tricking me with your cuteness we HAD to start sleep training baby boy. I have to tell you that you have seemed much happier and you are even napping much better even though before that was never a HUGE problem. It really only took one hellish night. Your daddy had to do it mainly because you would FLIP like nothing else when I would even come near you-you were angry with me for sure. The longest stretch of crying was 30 minutes and you woke a few more times but max 5-10 minutes of crying. It only took that one night and you were golden. You still stir for your paci but we usually only need to go in once or twice for that and you are back to sleep. The last few nights you haven't woke up at all! The catch though is that you are up between 4:30/5 to eat. You are hungry after sleeping since 7:30pm. I will take it and we are going to work on sleeping until at least 5:30! 6 would be ideal please and thank you!
So sleep-check! Other changes this month? You have been eating like a champ (even more so), have learned to clap, and not just by accident, and you are starting to get the wave down.
You are crawling like a beast! I love that when I pick you up from school you crawl as fast as you can over to me. You are pulling up now which started as just pulling up to your knees but now you have mastered the full pull up. Soon you will be cruisin!
At your 9 month well check you were 18lbs 13 oz and 271/2 inches tall. A peanut weight wise compared to your sister. You are pretty much out of 9 month jammies but can still fit into 9 month onsies and pants although you have started rocking some 12 month gear because there is no way I am purchasing any more 9 month stuff because tomorrow it won't fit I am sure. You are wearing size 3 diapers.
As far as what we have been doing-not too much has been going on other than we have been trying to get healthy! You thankfully escaped the worst of it (FLU ACK!) but you did have a fever at one point for a few days and had a virus. Mommy and Lilly didn't fair so well but thankfully we are all on the mend! So we have been laying low for the most part.
You did get to celebrate your first Superbowl but unfortunately I don't have any pictures to commemorate that one...you were pretty much asleep and didn't miss much-the Seahawks annihilated the Broncos.
You got your first tooth and the second one has already popped through!
Hopefully February we will all finally be healthy and this weather will start to get better so we can hang out and get some fresh air outside!
We love you little Tommy! Happy 9 months to you! A milestone as you have been alive just as long as you were in my tummy! I guess that technically means you are 18 months old :)
And of course I have to share one of you and your best bud!
