Valentine's Day Snow Day!

Today marked my first day back at the office after a 6 day weekend!  Two already scheduled days off book ended a weekend and two snow days for both Tommy and myself.  It was nice to have some time to get some stuff done around the house and just relax and enjoy the snow and holiday with the kids.  I also got to enjoy my car breaking down and needing major repairs but let's focus on the good stuff shall we?

Valentine's Day happened to fall on one of our snow days!  We got to celebrate all day together and we even did some playing in the snow.  It was even safe enough to have some family over for a Valentine's day pizza party that evening.  It was a blast!

We had Valentine's donuts in the morning and gave the kiddos a valentine (a book and pj's for Tommy and an Elsa dress and Big book of Boo Boo's for Lilly).  Typical second child got a taste of his first donut and wouldn't you know, he loved it!

The kids had so much fun sharing Valentine's and some time with both set of grandparents and their cousins!

Oh and my husband built a kick butt snowman-I mean how perfect is he?!  I am waiting for him to come to life!  He is looking in our window and little Tommy loves going over to it and talking with the snowman!  If you ask him where the snowman is he immediately heads over to the window!

What a great day and great family memories!  I am kind of glad to be back in a routine (which is just as good for parents as it is the kids), but part of me hopes for one more snow day before the Spring!
